Wow, it takes intense endurance to not even let your head wander off of the back of the head of the person in front of you. The people that can do it I admire because I cannot and that is just mentally difficult to wrap my head around. It takes SERIOUS DISCIPLINE to not move your head at all and I have only seen one competitive rower with the ability. That is one of my old crew coaches, Coach Pat.
